Jackies Sports Massage holds the top of deep tissue massage and second on sports massage, and Sydney Sports Massage holds the sports massage term. The recovery searches are held by one dedicated studio, and the mobility searches by a strength gym. Across all six searches there is almost no paid competition, and you are on none of them.
Positions read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026, not estimated.

The mobility training search has a strength gym at the top and a Reddit thread in third place. A forum thread ranking third means nobody has written the page that answers the question properly. Recovery and mobility are the words a client uses when they are not looking for a massage, and those words are still open.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report at an example volume a city this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down.
Enquiries, not booked sessions. I have not assumed how many book or what you charge.
A client with a sore back and no answers becomes someone else's regular. Halve the example volume and it is still six enquiries a month choosing a clinic that wrote the page you did not.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Write the mobility, recovery and stretch pages in the words clients use, name the conditions you treat, and put the booking link on each one.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackies Sports Massage | 32 | Active now | Pain Relief Massage Today - Stop Muscle Pain Now | jackiessportsmassage.com.au | Deep tissue, remedial and sports massage in Sydney CBD, same-day appointments, advertiser verified |
| The Recovery Centre | 0 | Nothing on record | No ad on record | therecoverycentre.au | Nothing to compare |
| Muscle Mobility | 0 | Nothing on record | No ads from this business | musclemobility.com.au | Nothing to send a click to |
One clinic in this comparison is paying for every massage search that converts, with 32 ads pointing at four different offers: pain relief, deep tissue, remedial injury and sports therapy. You have nothing running, so those clicks go to the clinic that paid for them.
Their ad sends the click to a booking page that carries the same offer as the ad. The searches you are missing end in a booking form, not a phone tag.
The clinic with 477 reviews also bought 32 ads. Same searches, both channels.
Jackie's runs Google ads and holds a review count twenty three times yours. Review count is what a person checks before they book, and it is built by asking, which costs nothing but a habit.
What was actually tested: this business has no verifiable Meta ad, Jackie's has none either, so no Meta comparison is possible here.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. With no Meta ads running anywhere in this category, the first clinic to test one owns the feed before anyone bothers bidding.
A strength gym and a Reddit thread hold the mobility search. Those are the words a client uses when they have a problem rather than a booking, and nobody is answering them properly.
Sore back, tight hamstrings, desk neck, post marathon legs. People search the problem, not the treatment, and a page per problem is the whole job.
Nobody knows what to expect from a mobility session. A page that walks through the first appointment removes the risk that stops the booking.
There is almost no paid competition on these six terms. That is the cheapest month of Google traffic this category will ever have.
With no Meta ads running in this category and one clinic buying the Google terms, the cheap test is Meta at a small daily budget against the same booking page.
If you want the same treatment applied to the whole funnel, the next step is a working session. I will take this report apart line by line, show you where the bookings are leaking and what the first 90 days look like.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
