| Channel | 180 Plot Twist | Breakthrough Corporate Training | PD Training | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 2 of 6 | Page one on 2 of 6 | Two trainers trade the top of these searches with the short course arms of two universities. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 1 ads on record | 46 ads on record | One trainer buys the team building term. The rest of the field is not paying for these clicks. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | ~2 results | ~6 results | Not checked | No verifiable Meta ads from any of the three. The two results under this name belong to a golf speaker brand and a hair product, not to a training firm. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | No ad running, so no page is set up to answer a click | Ad lands on the training firm's own site with the workshop list. | Ad lands on a course page with duration, price and money back guarantee. | Forty six ads from the competitor land on a course page with the price band and the guarantee. Yours has no ad and no offer page. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | Profile with no reviews | 5.0 (72 reviews) | 4.0 (4 reviews) | Your Google profile has no reviews on it yet, while the one competitor advertising shows 5.0 from 72. For a buyer who has never heard of you, that is the whole comparison. |
Breakthrough Corporate Training holds the top of both corporate training and corporate workshops, and PD Training holds second on leadership and communication skills and buys the team building term. Sydney University's short course arm appears four times across the top of these searches and NIDA's corporate arm sits on the communication skills term. You are on none of the six.

Read the six searches together and one thing stands out. Of the eighteen places at the top of them, thirteen belong to commercial training firms, four to the short course arm of Sydney University and one to a directory listing. Not one of those pages is selling an experience. The businesses searching team building and corporate workshops are asking for exactly what you do, and the pages answering them are selling training days.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report at an example volume a city this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down. Corporate training starts with an enquiry, not a card.
Enquiries, not bookings. I have not assumed how many convert or what a programme is worth to you.
One enquiry that turns into a single corporate programme usually covers this whole example for a year. Halve the volume and it is still four corporate buyers a month going to a course provider instead.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
Write the page for the buyer, not the format: one page per outcome (culture, connection, change) in the words the person booking it uses.

| 180 Plot Twist | 0 | Nothing on record | No ad on record | 180plottwist.com | Nothing to send a click to |
One hundred and eighty Plot Twist runs nothing on Google. The one competitor advertising here does it with a single ad from a personal account, which tells you how unpriced these searches are. In a category where buyers hold budgets, that is an open lane.
There is no ad to follow, so nothing is being tested. The first mover here sets the price expectation.
A room you have already run, on camera, in the first line.
Corporate buyers cannot tell one facilitator from another on a website. They can tell from thirty seconds of you holding a room. That clip is the cheapest advertising in this category.
What was actually checked: no ad of its own anywhere, and one competitor ad in the Transparency Centre.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. With nobody in this category running Meta, a short clip of a real session is the cheapest test available.
Every competitor answers the search with a course outline. The buyer booking a team day wants to know what the room will feel like. That is your whole product and it is not written down anywhere on page one.
Culture, connection, change, leadership through a story. Buyers search the problem they have, not the service you sell.
Corporate buyers need a price range before they can raise an internal approval. A per programme range or a per head rate filters out the tyre kickers.
One generalist trainer is buying that search and nobody owns it organically with anything creative. It is the closest term to what you actually sell.
Nobody here is running Meta, and a corporate buyer scrolling the feed is an audience you can reach for the price of one session. A clip of a room you have already run is the cheapest test in this report.
If you want the same treatment applied to the whole funnel, the next step is a working session. I will take this report apart line by line, show you where the enquiries are leaking and what the first 90 days look like.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
