Five channels, checked live on 9 October 2026. Every line traces to a source captioned on the page.
| Channel | Tessa Jetson | Saxton Speakers | ICMI Speakers | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google rankings 6 money searches | Page one on 0 of 6 | Page one on 3 of 6 | Page one on 3 of 6 | Two bureaus hold these searches, with a business coach and a directory filling the rest. No individual speaker owns a page one position. |
| Google Ads Transparency Centre, AU | 0 ads on record | 43 ads on record | 52 ads on record | Nobody is buying these searches. A speaker who advertises would be the only one in the auction. |
| Meta Ads Ad Library, active now | No ads match your search criteria | ? | Not checked | No ads match this search in the Meta Ad Library for this business, checked 9 October 2026. |
| Landing page Where the click lands | No ad running, so no page is set up to answer a click | Ad lands on the bureau's roster page with topic filters. | Ad lands on the bureau's searchable roster. | Both bureaus send their ad clicks to a roster page with topic filters. This business has no ad and no topic page. |
| Reputation Google rating (reviews) | 5.0 (7 reviews) | 4.7 (6 reviews) | 4.9 (31 reviews) | Five stars from 7 reviews is a clean sheet and almost no volume. A bureau can send a client to a speaker it has reviewed, and that number is the first thing they look at. |
Saxton holds the top of the motivational speaker search in Melbourne and second on keynote speaker Australia, and ICMI holds third on three of the six. Below them are a business coach and a directory. Every one of those pages is a list of speakers, and you are on none of the six searches. Your own site carries no meta description and no page heading.
Positions read live from Google Australia on 9 October 2026, not estimated.

This is a category where the middlemen hold the front page. Saxton and ICMI appear across these searches because they publish a page per speaker and per topic, and their pages rank. For an individual speaker the play is different: win the searches a speaker can own, which are the specific ones about a story, a topic or a room full of people, and let the bureau pages do what they do.
The chain, with every assumption written down. Deliberately conservative.
The six searches in this report at an example volume a market this size supports. An example, not a measured figure.
The clicks you do not get today, once those pages sit around position three, rounded down.
Enquiries at 5% of those visits, rounded down. A speaking booking starts as an enquiry.
Enquiries, not bookings. I have not assumed how many convert or what you charge.
One event booked from this example usually pays for the whole exercise for a year. The pages answering those five enquiries today are bureau listings, and a bureau listing is someone else deciding whether your name gets read.
Estimates, not promises. Each assumption is deliberately conservative so the number holds up.
One page per talk: the story, the room it suits, the outcome for the audience and a clip of you delivering it.
| Advertiser | Ads on record | Last ran | Headline seen | Lands on | Offer on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saxton Speakers | 43 | Active now | Find A Speaker For Your Event - Mental Health & Wellbeing | saxton.com.au | Speakers by topic and by name, including celebrity keynotes, all pointing at the bureau's own roster |
| ICMI Speakers | 52 | Active now | Speakers by topic, booked through the bureau | icmi.com.au | A speaker roster searchable by topic, checked from the advertiser's own Transparency Centre page |
| Tessa Jetson | 0 | Nothing on record | No ad on record | tessajetson.com.au | Nothing to send a click to |
The bureau buys the speaker searches by topic and by name, and its ads send every click to its own roster page. You are not in that auction at all, which means a buyer searching for exactly your subject finds the bureau first and never sees you.
The bureau's ad click lands on a roster page with the filters a buyer wants. Yours would need one page per topic you speak on, because that is how the searches are written.
Thirty seconds of you on stage, before the bio.
An event organiser is buying a room outcome, and thirty seconds of you holding that room does more than any written bio. The clip is the ad, and it is the cheapest thing on this list.
What was actually checked: no ad of its own anywhere, and forty three competitor ads in the Transparency Centre.
Why this matters: a stronger headline and hook lifts click-through. Higher click-through lowers what Meta charges per click. Cheaper clicks mean more visits from the same budget, and more visits mean more enquiries. Nobody in this category is running Meta, and a short clip is native to the feed. That combination is rare.
The page has no heading and no meta description, so the first line a search engine and a browser tab show is the site name. It is the cheapest repair on this list.
The bureaus rank because they publish a page per speaker and per topic. A page per talk, written for the room it suits, is the same structure with your name on it.
A Story to Inspire is the promise in your own title. The pages that rank do not tell a story at all, which is exactly the gap you can own.
An event organiser is buying a room outcome, and thirty seconds of you on stage does more than any testimonial paragraph.
Nobody in this category is running Meta, and a speaker is a video product. A thirty second clip of you holding a room is the cheapest test available, and it doubles as the ad and the proof.
If you want the same treatment applied to the whole funnel, the next step is a working session. I will take this report apart line by line, show you where the enquiries are leaking and what the first 90 days look like.
Book a time with DeanAt 18 I started a corporate events company doing photo booths, DJing and photography. I could not afford an agency, so I taught myself web development, Meta Ads, Google Ads and SEO off YouTube, got myself to number one on Google, and took it to roughly $300,000.
Everything in this report I can read because I have spent my own money on the exact channels it covers. What follows is not theory. It is what I would fix first.
